Paperhand Puppets

These puppets have been on display at the ArtsCenter in Carrboro. I shot them a few weeks ago and I keep forgetting to post them. They were created by the Paperhand Puppet Intervention. There was a story on NPR today about them and it reminded me of the photos.
Check out their website to learn more about them. It's an amazing group! They also have a show going on right now at the Forest Theater on campus at UNC. Some of the masks are created using clay molds. These are cardboard and paper mache. If you haven't seen one of their shows before, you should definitely check them out if you are in the area.

Paperhand Puppet intervention is dedicated to bringing many styles of puppetry and artistic expression to the Triangle area and the world.
