I'll have to come back in the am, my dialup is so slow and its late, but I am sure it is wonderful, can't wait to see it.

Very cool video - really shows the entire process! Loved the sound effects & the cool fire shots --- oh yeah - your pieces look good too!

And I loved the shot of the dog --with the 'just waiting for everyone to finish so someone will play with me expression' on his face.

Great video!! Make me realize how long it has been since I have done any raku and I miss it!

Towards the end there is the pot that is flaming in the kiln. Had you added combustibles to the inside of the pot? If so, was it something you normally do or was it for the film? Also, was it a white crackle glaze on the interior of that pot?

Thanks!

FIRE!!! Very cool... Loved the intro and when the kiln was being lifted and the air hit the pot o' fire.

-Though I thought for sure there was going to be a hip sound track created by your daughter!!

Hi everyone, glad you liked the video! Gerry worked really hard on it. It was fun to see the final product after having the camera in so many weird angles all around me. Jerry, there isn't a white crackle on any of the pots and I put some newspaper in the pot that had flames coming out partly just for fun and partly to see if there would be any blackening from it. There wasn't. My vases tend to stay white on the inside sometimes and I am working on getting them black more often. I only have one can that is consistently giving me reduction, going to have to buy some new cans!

Just beautiful - all of it - the hot pots and the finished pots, love the night sounds at the end too.

Hey Linda, I thought of you and your dial up when I posted this! It took two hours for it to upload on Blogger and on youtube.

great video, Tracey! Loved the angles and the sound, especially. The roar of the propane, the silent glazing and waiting, the squeaky lifting of the kiln... perfect. xo
