...and here is why I said no

I have pottery piling up everywhere. I glazed in the kitchen today, too cold to glaze outside where I normally work.
and I can't glaze where I normally work because I have this mess piled up because it's too cold to clean it up, and I just don't want to deal with it right now. Every time I go out there to put things away, I just can't figure out where it's going to go so I leave it for another day. No, I'm not becoming one of those hoarder people, I just don't like to be cold and it freezes my thought processes. I did take a van load of give away stuff to the thrift store last week that came out of our attic, closets, and drawers. That felt good!
I am now making these little vases for my test tiles. I can throw a bunch of them off the hump, and some days it's just fun to sit and make them without thinking of how correct they should be. They look like little Easter eggs don't they?
and this is how they come out. I love them!

You need my method of dealing with a freezing cold studio....3 heaters aimed right on your butt and 3 layers of clothing!!

It's 56 in my basement studio. We didn't get the flue cleaned so we didn't get the little wood stove I wnated, and my hub say kerosene will stink up the house. I noticed yesterday that the sink is still full of cups and brushes from glazing 6 weeks ago. Maybe I'll try jen's approach.
