The pro is in the house

Gerry was home for a minute today and kindly agreed to shoot some pictures of some of the things out of the kiln over the weekend. I love it when he is in the mood to shoot some artsy pics for me! Check out my new gallery tab to see some of the images I got today. I am LOVING this cup and saucer. Thanks to my friend Laura for her inspiring wonky cups, this is my version. The inside is glossy black. I would like to get this in a cup show somewhere, what to do?

Such nice work, Tracey; I really like the "Desoule" house. So forlorn.
And your "mobile homes are
charming, a word I don't really get to use that often.
Kudos to your lensman!

Thanks everyone, I'm pretty happy with the results! So nice to see some good pictures after my feeble attempts.

That's great Tracey, you've really got something special going with the cup and saucer. It is a very nice development of the barns, and I like the way you have been inspired by your friend Laura, but the work has come out your own:)

Tracey!
You are just rocking hot these days!
HOT- HOT- HOT!

Yes! I'd say two "pros" are in the house! PHoto pro and pottery pro. It's interesting how the legs on your saucer have migrated there from the barn stands. Interesting how work evolves over time.

The cup & saucer is very cool! And the work on your gallery page is wonderful! I agree with Patricia -- '2 pros in the house!' But isn't it great to see your work shot professionally!

I love the green glaze and the mobile homes & the desole barn -- oh I just love all of it!

That's a beauty, Trace. xo

Hey Kari: the cup is black inside and just disappeared with the black background. I'll try to shoot something quick and dirty myself for you to see. Thanks Laura, you are the inspiration!!
