I have walls...sort of

Ryan showed up this morning before I even had a cup of tea and got right to work! At the end of the day I have four walls framed and the framing for the door is ready to go. I really can't believe this is finally happening. Once again, I must say thanks to all of my cheer leaders out there! I am reading, just not sitting still long enough to comment. I tried hard this morning to read everyone's blogs the way I like to in the mornings but I am all ansy and restless, ready to get this thing done! Tomorrow the siding goes on and the roof framing gets done. Wednesday roofing, Thursday rain comes back so we will all rest, and Friday the windows and door, then it's party time for the boys again :) I will be painting all weekend.
Here I am with Bud and Tyler and my soon to be completed walls and no, I am NOT pregnant, that is just my big baggy shirt and lots of layers, it was chilly today :)
On a more serious note, I would like to send out my thoughts and prayers to Meredith and Mark Heywood who have lost a very dear family member today. I came in to check my email this morning and as I read Meredith's note that Lee had passed away I heard hammering outside on my studio that is soon to be a reality. I told Meredith that in some way, I felt that part of Lee's spirit will be in my studio now. Even though I didn't know her, the photos of her were infectious, her smile was brilliant and I know that I would have liked her. So let's all send some good wishes to the Heywoods and their families tonight.

You'll have a roof soon. You'll start working in that place just as spring gets going.

Tracey~ it is such a pleasure to watch your dreams come true! I am sitting here with my cup of tea and have a huge smile on my face as I look at the framed walls!! I will also keep Meredith and her family in my prayers as they struggle through the loss of Lee.

Reading your posts is returning the excitement that I was feeling last summer when we were building my studio. I'm so happy for you.

Thanks everyone for the cheers! Lori, the first post I ever read of yours was when you posted about your studio and it was then that I started thinking I could do it too. Maybe I will inspire someone to build like you did for me! I can still see the photo of your new construction and thinking, I can do that!
