Here's to you!

Here's to you my friends and blogger buddies, who have been so cool, patiently reading and commenting through all of my craziness. I really appreciate all of your comments and I learn so much from all of you. It's been a really odd week, roller coaster kind of week, emotional highs and lows, that's for sure. I got a very lovely email from a gallery that I sent a package to and I am looking forward to working with them sometime in the near future and then I got a bit of a frosty reception from another shop I visited personally and so never mind that. Sarah, at the NC Crafts Gallery sets the bar pretty high for me, she is exactly how I think all gallery owners should be and sadly I am learning they are not all like her. I also got a very warm reception at the Visual Art Exchange today when I dropped off a barn for the upcoming show there, and that was nice. So here are some pretty flowers for those of you whose mamas raised you with manners and taught you how to always treat others the way you would like to be treated!!!

Hi Tracey,
Just read your last 2 posts and can't get the image of that poor girl who's dog was killed out of my head... and I wasn't even there; you were, and it must have been awful for you.

You are doing such great work. I love the way the light and shadow plays on those buildings of yours, and I like your use of colour and texture. Hope your search for galleries to sell your work goes well.

hi tracey, do unto others indeed. i too read the 2 previous posts and the dog getting hit was very disturbing. we live near a busy street and don't let sunglasses out the front door because she bolts and we don't want her to get hit. i would be distraught if she got hit but when i think about it, how the little one would take it would be simply awful. dogs are amazing anyway, they seem to wait all day for an opportunity to give you some lovin'. the other post was very provocative too but i started to comment and realized that i'd have to write pages to get what's in my head out... and now that i've joined the ranks as a fellow ranter, maybe i'll tackle that someday.

They smell so good! Thanks! I am so sorry about the loss of the poor dog and heartbroken for the sweet girl.
Life is full of ups and downs.
I hope more ups soon!

There is absolutely nothing that I could say or do that would describe how grateful I am for you, Tracey, and for what you did. You, a complete stranger, came to my aid at a time when I was absolutely devastated and frightened. I remember dozens of cars stopped on the road and yet you were the only one who jumped out, opened your trunk, and pulled out your mat to rush Apollo off. You were an angel...for this I am forever grateful, thank you!

I have replayed Wednesday's accident over and over in my head a million times. I have cried more tears than I ever thought possible. I deny Apollo's death as I dream about hearing him whine to go out...he was such a wonderful puppy.

I have no idea how I got your card...maybe you handed it to me while I was panicked, maybe the vet gave it to me after I had time to grasp what happened...but I am glad to be able to get in touch with you and express how much your compassion meant to me. Thank you!

Hi Erin: thanks for leaving a note, I wondered what your name was and how you were doing. You and Apollo will be in my thoughts for a very long time
I have lost dogs to cars and it is one of the hardest things in the world to go when you love your pet. Take care!

Thank you for being the person that stops to help someone in their time of need.
