Clearly I am not the bread winner around this house, making two inch chairs, but I am digging these little guys. Pain in the ass to make. I made them for a barn that had a niche, but I rushed the firing and blew the barn up, so I am left with little chairs, sigh.....
Just in case you have been sitting by your computer anxiously awaiting news of what I did for my anniversary, here is what it was.... we went to Tallulahs, love that name, and had a lovely dinner of Turkish mezze dishes, little bits of cheeses, olives, grilled shrimp, falafel, hummus, salads, cabbages, pizza, baklava, chocolate creme with Khalua(I almost cried), red stripe beer and we stuffed ourselves. Sooooo good!
It would have been nice to sit outside on Franklin St. but it was 100 f'ing degrees yesterday, so we sat inside where it was dark and cold, like bats.
The restaurant is such an interesting place, beautiful rugs are hanging on the walls, not a one one the floors, oddly, and lots of cushy pillows in beautiful kilim patterns, and a strange but beautiful girl was sitting with us.
I drank some red stripes and was brought home. Poor Gerry, 26 years...... why do I always make these faces when Wesley takes my picture?!
