Guilty

My friend Laura emailed this to me the other day. You may have seen it, but I haven't until now.
I can check off quite a few of these. I think I'll try and change some of that!!

Owch! Guilty of some of those... Makes you think doesn't it! Number 10 is a bit like me... I'm not that impatient, but I do tend to go for overwhelming goals... I'm never quite sure at what point a person has to admit that goals are overwhelming and unachievable... I know that some things actually are, but it is better to die trying, than expire before you're dead?!!

definitely number two (although i am guilty of the others as well).
my mother still doesn't know why i am so attracted to clay. she always thought i would be a painter or illustrator.
i stopped showing her my work a couple of years ago.
My oldest brother on the other hand is very supportive.

Mea culpa! Although I learned many years ago not to speak of my work with family....which turned into, "You are so secretive about your stuff." Me, "I didn't think you were interested......and I never talk about work in progress." Changed the dynamic enormously!

Any way I can get a download of this?

Word verification.....DAYWOR.....short for dayworry! ;)

This is amusing, especially imagining a line of artist freaks taking a formal and precise bow to "societal pressures".

I'm guilty of all of these at one point or another. It's good advice. I was talking to Janet the other day about pottery ribs and then started wondering how it's possible that she can stay awake while I babble on about such things.
