I have been cleaning like someone possessed this week and I painted the upstairs and the downstairs entry white. My house was starting to look like a crayon box, every room a different color and I am sort of tired of it, so we are going white and gray. It's nice and restful, but taking some getting used to. My entry was red before and now I walk in and see these white walls, it's odd. But I like it. De-cluttering is full on right now. It feels good!
Here are some pretty photos and the last of my vacation posts. Thanks for coming along on the trip!!
The end.

Thanks for all the beautiful pictures this week!
Thank you Tracey for the images from Maine. We(my Mom, me and my my 5 siblings, my cousin, and a snapping turtle)traveled there in the late 1950's to Kittery Point from Los Angeles, Ca.
See you at Festifall. Maybe we will be near each other.

The boat photo! Love it!... I have been enjoying the maine photos so much. Thanks!... Congrats on the new shows and commissions. You're an inspiration!.. And painting the house too. Now THAT sounds like work!
The pictures are really enjoyable, thank you for posting them. If you're still in the mood to de-clutter a house you can come here.
Thanks for the armchair vacation, Tracey. You have such a good eye for pictures, color, et al. it's been inspiring and embarrassing at the same time. I say embarrassing because you can get more done in a week than I can in a month; I mean, you went on a vacation, are painting your house, have clay work to get done, and can have company over in the meantime. Wow, what alot of work.
Post some of Gerry's pictures if you have a chance, it would be nice to see his artistic side, rather than his documentary side some time; I bet they are very good as well.
Keep up the great work, both on your blog and off!
so pretty! thanks for sharing. xo
Glad you all have enjoyed the pics. Kevin, I had to laugh at your post:) I have a problem with sitting still, I guess. Nervous energy inherited from my parents is the likely reason. Today was a pretty full day already and it's only 1pm!
You make me tired out just describing your days...
Have a great weekend!
What!? This was an easy week!
What a trip down memory lane! We were in Maine 3 years ago, now. I think I'd better start planning another trip. Great photos!
