Prayers for all of you that were in Sandy's path

The news just seems to get worse and worse every day about the folks in the northeast. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you that were in the path of this storm. So many sad stories, but also many stories of human compassion and kindness.
It seems so trivial to blog about my phoney baloney life with all of this going on, so I am taking a little break for the weekend.
I will tell you one thing though.
I was offered a LOOM today!!!! I am going to have a loom!!!!!!!
More later....
love to all
xoxo

Congratulations on the loom! I still use some hand loomed napkins and place mats my mom made. In her 80's she just didn't want to do it anymore and sold her loom.
Still praying for all those people in the way of Sandy. At first it didn't seem so bad, until daylight when the true picture of the devastation was revealed.
As a child I used to take the ferry to Staten Island with my dad to go mushroom picking and crabbing every summer and fall. I can't believe what I'm seeing now.
Some Manhattan friends were wise to got out of the city before it hit. So it was good to hear that they were OK.

Thanks for thinking of us. We came through unscathed, not the case with all the shore and low lying areas.

Enjoy the loom!
