Centering

Feeling the need for a little centering. Dark clouds are rising, I want to get back on the wheel and make some bowls. 2013 looks promising, see you then.....

Your bowls with your stunning Raku glazes? Drool. So beautiful.
And along with your future wonderful woven textile art, I hope 2013 will be a magical, exciting year for you :)

I'm new to wheel work - bought an old second-hand wheel earlier this year.
I was told that, "you need to be centred in your mind to centre your clay - it's like a meditation". I like that. I need that. Wish I had that years ago ;)
I'm looking forward to spending more time and spinning out with my wheel in the new year.

Hey Cindy, thanks!
Vicki, it's very true for me that clay on the wheel centers me and it is very meditative once you get past the frustration part:)
Not sure what glazes I'm interested in just yet.... It's hard to use the raku glaze with bowls because I have to explain to everyone that they are not functional.....

Haha, thanks Judi, it's funny that everyone sees this nasty commenter as a man, I sort of think they might be female, who knows, either way they don't have the balls to have a true identity, so who really care!
