So much better!

THANK YOU so much to all of the shoppers that came out to the Chatham County Studio Tour this weekend. It was great to see customers from last year returning for more shopping this year, great to meet new customers, and most especially great to see my friends that came over, although it's weird taking money from you!
This tour was so much better than that previous show I did, which I am trying to forget. In the first two hours of the tour I sold more than I did in three days of that other one, amazing! and I sat in the comfort of my own studio, went up to the house for hot tea and pasta and cookies whenever I wanted and met lots of people that were enjoying themselves instead of walking around like drones. What a difference!
I so appreciate all of the kind comments and the purchases and I hope all of you enjoy the things you bought. I still have some very pretty barns left, and about a dozen stars thanks to proper planning and making enough of them this year. The tour will be again next weekend, so come on over, I still have a nice selection of artwork. There were some folks I expected to see that didn't come out, so where are you?!?! come on over, I have lots of new work!

If you like these white barns and think you want one, this might be the last chance. I have been having serious tremors of a break up with them, feeling it's time to move on. I'm not sure yet, but I'm feeling it ever so slightly, and I know what that means. Bye bye..... I have new things I want to do, and I'm a bit tired of making the same thing over and over. Such is the way of art, I suppose........

Yay! So much better. I'm so glad you had a great weekend Tracey.

Go with your flow, go with your heart - make art from the heart. It's the right thing to do if it feels right.
Wishing you all the best and will always love what ever you make - can't wait to see what 2013 has in store :)

Tracey,
Loved your studio and your loom. You are an inspiration!
One of the best things about being a true artist is we can be fluid in our work. Changing the art when it is necessary, or staying with something as long as necessary. I love wher your art has been, where it is today, and I look forward to where it will go.
Peace and Stitch,
Candace

So glad the weekend went well for you! I loved the studio tour in Cville. (As an attendee, not as an artist) I'd love to have one here in Fburg....much nicer to be able to make tea and be surrounded by all you love.

I do think that it's much easier to connect with buyers when you are in your own environment... it gives them a glimpse into your world and they want to bring a piece of it home with them.
May the energy flow into next weekend as well!

Thanks Michele! I'm the same way, I would much rather buy at the artists place!
