Monk Lunch

Wesley has been having lunch with the monks from Tibet this week, my child is over the moon happy.
Here is a little taste of some of the video she is shooting.
Today we were there for the morning prayers, stayed all day and got to know them all better, and then stayed for the puja for the Dali Llama. The chanting and the blessings during prayers are so moving, I feel like I am experiencing something so extraordinary, it doesn't seem real to me.
More to come, stay tuned.....

Jody, it is mind boggling to watch them do this, they hardly move from their position all day and work very close to the surface,it's so intense! And then Snday it will all be swept into the river...... Impermenance.

I'll be she's happy. That looks like so much fun and so interesting.

I saw the Dalai Lama speak a few years ago in Atlanta. The monks did some chanting at the beginning, it was a very, very moving experience.

we had a Tibetan monk come speak with the children at school this year. (3rd grade was studying Tibet) What a lovely hour that was.
