Oh if I had the wisdom back then that I have now? Oh how different my path would be...not better perhaps but surely different.
I know Suzan! I just keep trying to pass on that wisdom to my kid in hopes she doesn't make all the dumb mistakes I did. Yes, like a fine wine.... I like that!

H. Sandy, thanks. My mom and dad spent their honeymoon on the Blue Ridge too! Gerry and I have spent many many weekends up there, not as much lately as we would like, but hoping to change that!
I came across your blog as a link on smartcat's blog which I read on Mud Colony. I must tell you that I am so glad you posted the earlier photo as well as the current photo. It (literally) brought tears to my eyes to see two people still enjoying each other's company after thirty years.
