KARMA

KARMA
Karma is defined as the universal law of cause and effect. Every action causes an equal reaction. Every action leaves it's imprint. If we cause a wrong doing, the Universe teaches us what it feels like to be the recipient of that act.
The cause: thoughts, words, actions
The Effect: the experience the thoughts, words, or actions trigger

My neighbor is testing my karma practice. He got a new rooster two Mondays ago (he shot the last two he had because they were insane). I gave it eight days, waking up at 5am to a cock a doodle do every 1/2 minute, from 5am until 10am (seriously I timed it). Then on the ninth day I called him at 5am and complained. He came over, seemed shocked at my dismay, told me he would just "put the rooster down" and walked away. That was last Wednesday, that cock is still a crowing.... I don't want the rooster to die because I can't sleep, I want to live far away from annoying human beings......

I won't complain anymore or call animal control. I will wait for the Universe to bring something equally annoying to his doorstep one day........  I'm just going to sleep with a loud fan in my room.

Visualization
Using your thoughts to create a picture in your mind of a goal you seek to accomplish.  Form an outline and a plan of action for achieving your goal, make sure it is realistic and attainable.  The strength of your desire, determination and a true purpose for whatever it is you wish to do will determine your success.

I am thinking of new goals, formulating plans. They involve soap!
I got a book at the library about aromatherapy, using essential oils to enhance the body, mind and spirit.
So many new things to learn......

I can't spell Laryngectomy but the Rooster needs one.

The rooster isn't as much a problem as his owner. The owner needs an education in being considerate of others. He has a band that plays loudly at night twice a week too! He thinks he is Jimi Hendrix.....
Jimi down on the farm, haha!

I once had a neighbor with way too many roosters. I eventually got used to them and didn't hear their cock-a-doodle doos at 5 am. But when I had overnight guests it was the first thing they would mention!
Sorry, but I don't have any answers to your dilemma .

Neighbours. We're having problems with ours too :(
There's no easy solution when "they" aren't considerate of your requests. Ugh.
I so wish we lived in the country again, with acres between us and others. Maybe one day, I hope and dream.
I yearn for milking goats again :)

Keep visualising, Tracey. It's a powerful tool. And the Universe does listen and help - just never quite when/how we want it too :)

I'm so glad you made "rustic" ball soaps. They're my favourite of all. They look good - humble and honest, and are so tactile, you just want to pick them up and smell them.
The little old cafe we visit sells this type of hand formed round soaps and I never fail to pick them up and breathe deep their essence.

Ear plugs are like magic. Keep extras in the guest room...

Hi Michele, yeah when people come here it is curious to them. I once tried to sit out on the deck with a friend and have a conversation (when the neighbor had the two roosters) it was so loud and continuous we had to come inside.
Hi Vicki, neighbors, yep! That's why we are looking for ten acres in the middle of nowhere! Glad you like the ball soaps, I have always loved them too. They are a little time consuming but worth the outcome.
Hi Anna, I can't sleep with earplugs, but I did sleep last night with a very loud fan going..... still, I am now conditioned to waking at 5am, so here I sit on a Sunday morning, me and the rooster, only ones up :)

We don't even live at the city house we are working on and are now receiving letters, with pictures from the woman next door, who wants our trees to stop dropping leaves on her lawn. Yep, our leaves blow our to her house and they are causing her problems. We did find out she has the same problem with the neighbors on the other side and behind her. She wants us all to contain our leaves and pine needles. I'm expecting a letter next week since Auther went through there. I'm wondering how she would feel if we put in chickens and bees....

Get a rooster if you really want to start something, haha! When I was a kid, my mom would make me go out in the yard and pick up pine cones (don't ask), I would kick them over into the neighbor's yard :)
