Bat Shit Crazy

"When you see crazy coming, cross the street"
.... from one of those Oprah people

This past week:

I discovered that it is very likely my dad was not an alcoholic.........

I discovered I can leave my body and watch from against the wall as my mom has a fit and someone besides me caused it....

I discovered what a narcissist is......

I discovered my life has not been at all what I thought it was.....

I discovered there is someone besides Gerry that recognizes my mom is crazy......

I had a nurse tell me I need to divorce my mom.

I wrote a very long post about this, but I'm not sure it should be published, maybe I will edit it when I settle down a bit.

Thanks to all of you for the emails and the last comments. Sometimes things aren't really what they seem to be. The person that wrote that last post has been through some changes.........

I understand you very well!
I had a similar experience with my mom last week.

So take care of you and don´t take it personally!

The important thing is, that YOU are a really great mom to your child and a wounderful wife to your husband.

Perhaps it´s better you leave this place too...

Sometimes, this is why I post. I know there are a bunch of people out there with the same things going on, comfort in numbers, haha! Thanks for your comment and I'm sorry you are having a similar thing with your mom. Good lord, us poor children :)

Love to you, Tracey. We're back from helping/watching K's mom & an afternoon with mine. Hold on to yourself.

Oh my god Tracey, my heart goes out to you. Truly.
It's often not until we are way past such difficult times that we can look back, process and see (and admire) the strength in ourselves.
Hold tight to Gerry and Wesley - they are your sanity in this crazy world.
Huge hugs xxx
