It's about the connected buildings on an old New England farm, made that way so that in the nasty midwinter you could go from your bedroom to milking cows without ever stepping out into the snowstorm. Patricia, Gerry and I shake our heads a lot too, saying where did she come from! She is definitely marching down a different path. Anna, I did see the barns attached to the houses, so funny, makes for a really huge house. I could have photographed barns all day long, but the red one is about the only one Gerry stopped the car for :)Tracey Broomehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14560971496423789576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3393740465996795163.post-68902510099033296912011-06-28T05:33:48.095-07:002011-06-28T05:33:48.095-07:00Congrats on being accepted. LOVE all these, and did you notice the old houses that are connected to the barn in the back? LOVE those in Maine. (The perfect pottery studio, connected to the house for ease of entrance in the Winter but not so connected that your house gets, er, dusty(er)!

Can't wait to see the barns that come out of this trip...and the blue and white dinnerware too. :)Anna M. I love talking with him and feel so lucky to have such a creative, funny, compassionate man for a son. These days, my husband and I often shake our heads in wonderment and say to each other, "Where did he come from? How did we make this human?" I guess the bottom line is that we didn't really make him. There's no way.... I'm rambling now... Hope you're having a great day!Patricia Griffin Ceramicshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11205981725964222971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3393740465996795163.post-74818357813951808062011-06-28T03:30:03.879-07:002011-06-28T03:30:03.879-07:00I love those colors as well and somewhere in my ma...I love those colors as well and somewhere in my maine pictures I have some old barn/building shots.
Aren't those old buildings just lovely and I do love the contrast of board to paint- weathered.
The dinnerware set in your head is your minds way of distracting you from what really needs to be done. I know because this is happening to me right now. I want to sew some things so bad but I know that now is not the time. So quiet down you brain cells and let me work.cookingwithgashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11456258592273328486noreply@blogger.com
